Identify, Assist, Refer (IAR) Workshop
ESC2144 and Online (Hybrid)
Thursday, November 27, 2025 | 9:30 am – 11 am
This training provides practical, evidence-informed skills to help you recognise when someone may be experiencing mental-health challenges, offer appropriate support, and connect them with the right campus resources. Led by FAS’s Chad Jankowski.
Grads juggle research, teaching, deadlines, and personal responsibilities. Having the tools to notice when a peer—or you—may be struggling can make a meaningful difference. Also, this workshop can give you the skills to support undergraduates when you are teaching, and is a valuable life-long professional skill.
Pastries and coffee will be provided. Please sign up here to help us prepare refreshments and to receive the Zoom link.
